  • A 45 minute pre-k class exploring the dynamics of space, time, shape, and flow. Designed to encourage creativity and motor skills, this class is a great way to introduce your child to dance technique.

    Class Attire: Comfortable clothing that allows for dynamic movement and hair must be secured neatly. Most of our dancers wear ballet attire.

  • Pre-ballet serves our students as a stepping stone from our Creative Movement class to our beginner-level Ballet class. Students will begin to build upon the the technical foundation that they began in Creative Movement while beginning to implement the discipline and poise of the classical ballet style.

    This 45-minute class is great for new students that fall into this age group and wish to concentrate on building their technique, or for students that wish to pursue ballet more intensely.

    Class Attire: Solid colored leotard, pink or black tights, pink ballet shoes, hair secured neatly in a bun.

  • Pointe Ballet is a classical dance style that focuses on strength, grace, and precise technique while dancing on the tips of the toes using specialized pointe shoes. This genre builds on a strong foundation of ballet training and emphasizes balance, control, and artistry. Pointe helps dancers develop confidence, poise, and the ability to perform with elegance. Prior ballet experience is required for registration, and instructor approval is necessary to ensure readiness and safety.

    Class Attire: Leotards are required, pink tights, ballet skirts optional, pointe shoes (fitted by a professional), and hair must be secured in a neat bun.

  • This class requires a readiness assessment with the Studio Director before registering.

    Ballet is a classical dance form that is upheld with integrity within our studio. We focus heavily on technique and form while stressing the importance of expression and performance through the genre. Dancing on pointe requires proper spine alignment, turn out from the hips, strong ankles and good balance. In this class we prepare and introduce our students to this challenging and beautiful art form. Dancers must have at least two years of dance experience before participating in this class.

    Class Attire: Solid colored leotard, pink or black tights, pink ballet shoes, hair secured neatly in a bun.

  • This fun, upbeat class introduces young dancers to the basics of both Contemporary and Jazz dance! Dancers will explore rhythm, musicality, and expressive movement while building confidence, coordination, and creativity. Perfect for beginners ready to move and groove.

    Class Attire: Leotards encouraged, comfortable dance clothes (leggings, shorts with tights, fitted shirts), jazz shoes or lyrical shoes, and hair secured neatly.

  • In this class, dancers continue to develop their technique in both Contemporary and Jazz styles. The focus is on combining fluid, expressive movement with the sharp, dynamic elements of jazz dance. Dancers will build strength, flexibility, and confidence while learning fun combinations and choreography!

    Class Attire: Leotards encouraged, comfortable dance clothes (leggings, shorts with tights, fitted shirts), jazz shoes or lyrical shoes, and hair secured neatly.

  • This class blends the expressiveness of Contemporary with the energy of Jazz to challenge and inspire growing dancers. Dancers will work on technique, musicality, and performance skills while learning creative choreography that combines fluid movement with bold accents. Great for all experience levels!

    Class Attire: Leotards encouraged, comfortable dance clothes (leggings, shorts with tights, fitted shirts), jazz shoes or lyrical shoes, and hair secured neatly.

  • A dynamic, expressive class that fuses Contemporary’s fluid, emotional style with the bold technique and power of Jazz. Dancers will focus on strength, flexibility, musicality, and artistry through challenging choreography designed to enhance both technical skill and stage presence. This class is open to experienced and new dancers ready to grow.

    Class Attire: Leotards encouraged, comfortable dance clothes (leggings, shorts with tights, fitted shirts), jazz shoes or lyrical shoes, and hair secured neatly.

  • Clogging originated in the Appalachian Mountains as a mountain man’s folk dance. The roots of this quick step dance come from Irish step dancing (as seen in River Dance) and Holland’s wooden shoe dance. This fun and upbeat class is a great way to connect to our Appalachian culture. This class will focus on traditional Appalachian dance technique. We will have two separate times for beginners and intermediate dancers with a hoedown in the middle focusing on partner work. Dancers will also learn other traditional folk dances such as running set and Smooth Dancing.

  • This beginner-friendly class introduces dancers to the exciting world of tap! Dancers will learn basic tap steps, rhythms, and combinations while developing musicality, coordination, and timing. Tap 1 is perfect for first-time tappers or those wanting to build a strong foundation in a fun, energetic environment.

    Class Attire: Leotards encouraged, comfortable dance clothes (leggings, shorts with tights, fitted shirts), tap shoes required, and hair secured neatly.

  • In Tap 2, dancers will continue building on their basic tap knowledge with more complex rhythms, footwork, and combinations. This class focuses on timing, precision, and musicality, helping dancers grow their confidence and technical ability. A great option for dancers with some tap experience ready for the next challenge!

  • Hip Hop is an explorative form of dance that plays with different rhythms and energetic movements. This form of dance is perfect for all levels! Class Attire: Comfortable clothing with sneakers that allow for dynamic movement, hair must be secured neatly.
